I have owned a IPhone for a couple months and then decided to buy a motorola droid. I noticed that the games on the droid are nowhere near as good graphics wise. Why is this when the droid is a better phone in a graphics point?
I do not want any sarcastic "because apple products are the best", I am asking from a hardware perspective. Please keep your favoritism comments to yourself.
The developers aren’t taking the time and care they need to and that Apple demands. Right now, Android just wants volume – any apps are better than no apps.

Find a T-Mobile store and ask to toy around with a Samsung Memoir, really perfect if you want a phone you wont need to replace for the next 10 years (its that good and tons more).
T-Mobile internet is unlimited.
I would, suggest instead, wait for the I-Slate to come out for that apple product of the year.
Iphone is cute and popular, while blackberry is the chosen brand by every single girl I like and their all very smart girls (my type).
Question to why chose the Blackberry, their answer was simple the battery lasts long during talk time and the keyboard on the cellphone is the best for texting.
The google G1 is infamous for having a not so good battery life, perhaps if they get it up to 4 days then it will be a solid phone.
the Iphone, I don’t know how to say it in English, well total cost of manufacture to the customer is less then 90$, you get (what they pay for).
while a blackberry is roughly 120-180 depending on model and the Memoir is around 300$
Also what I really love about the memoir, is its LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE to make an exact Chines copy of it, because when it was released, the technology that was put into the 8 megapixel camera to make it that small was simply just invented by Samsung, therefore a 100% guarantee that its not a "Very High A+ quality replica"
My preference is the Samsung Memoir, simply because its perfect for a Technology enthusiast.

Where can I find the wallpapers that comes preset (installed) on the "motorola droid" & the "HTC Eris Droid" I went to download them for another Android Based Phone: Thank You!
Download the app called Backgrounds. There is a bunch of wallpaper in that app that you can download & save as your wallpaper.

I just got the new motorola droid but I can’t figure out how to text on the touchscreen sideways.
Thanks! I’ve been doing that and its still not working so I think its broken. I’m gonna bring it to verizon tomorow.
Just rotate the phone on it’s side. The keyboard will rotate with the phone to the landscape mode. (you must rotate the phone counter-clockwise – meaning the little "ledge" needs to be on your right, the top of the phone on your left, just like if you were to open your keyboard.
When the phone is in landscape mode (with the physical keyboard not extended), the keyboard and the area where your text appears will take up the entire screen. You won’t be able to see the existing text messages. You type what you want to type, then press the send button. To make the keyboard "disappear" press the "back button" to make it re-appear, click in the text area where you want to type.

Is it just me, or is the "getting started" guide that comes with the motorola droid a bit sparse? I’m looking for a more detailed tutorial for the phone.
I’ve got the Droid, but haven’t looked at the getting started book.
What is it you need to know? One of the best places for information regarding the phone would be the community group at Verizon. I think it’s http://community.vzw.com
There are some Sticky threads for getting started with it, also do a google for Android tips and tricks, you should find some good stuff out there. Another good web site with a good wiki is http://phandroid.com, androidcentral, androidtapp, and you can always search the market at http://androlib.com

I want to get the motorola droid from verizon but what is so special about it? Is it for using the internet fast or something?
ew i don’t want the iphone i already had one and i hated it.
Android is simply a Google operating system, I Have the myTouch 3g it runs on Android. the internet is fast on it, also they have a market for downloading apps. It’s like a little computer in your hand basically =)
I Like android so I recommend it

A phone like the Motorola Calgary or the Samsung Rouge also known as the Glyde 2 but I want the Calgary because it might have better aim since it’s an android phone
My Motorola Q9C has a qwerty keyboard and i swear by my phone. I love it and wouldn’t trade it for any of the newer "toys" out there. It has simple and amazing mobile email with multiple accounts.

My contract is up and up and i want to be a good smartphone. I heard the Droid is going to blow the iPhone out of the water so i want to buy it. When is it coming out?
The Droid will be released on Friday, November 6th. Pre-ordering is currently not available for the phone. It will cost $200 for new subscribers and $100 (counting a $100 rebate debit card) for existing users who are eligible for the "new every two" promotion.

I want to get a touch screen phone but have just statred listening and looking at the droid. What are some of the main differences without of the confusing lingo. Thanks
I’m looking at both phones myself including the HTC Imagio.
From what I can tell the Droid will be the better phone. It has a 5 MP camera with auto stabilization. The Storm only has 3.2 MP. The Droid has a real keyboard and a larger screen plus has FREE Google GPS!
I don’t think the iphone will be topped by this unless developers take advantage of it’s "open development" stance. Verizon is very strict about 3rd party support so this will be a turning point for them.
These talk more about it:
