Question by jjimppang: what separates DROID from rest of the phones?
recently i heard about samsung Droid Charge, so i thought it would be a new cool phone
so i saw some videos and reviews about it.
it looks cool and has good MP camera, front facing camera, and sim card and all that good stuff, but
software just totally looks like the samsung fascinate…. to me, it just feels like they got samsung software and just put it into a better looking phone that’s more faster and better camera.. am i wrong?
why is it called “Droid” if it’s bascially the samething? what separates Droid from rest of the phone?

So conclusion : what’s the MAIN difference between new samsung Droid, and other samsung smart phones like Fascinate, and continuum EXCEPT = better camera, faster software, simcard, runs on 4G??

1) “Droid” is a name brand for certain phones on the Verizon network.
2) Of course the software looks the same, it has the Android OS with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI on top of it. Any android phone Samsung makes and puts TouchWiz on top of will look the same software wise. Except for responsiveness and speed.
3) Hardware is the main differences.
