I just got my motorola droid phone from Verizon a couple of days ago.
I’ve been trying to listen to this online radio station from Greece.

I can listen to it just fine on my desktop computer (since it has Windows Media Player) but no luck on my Droid phone… =/
Does anyone know what to do?

Sorry, you can’t use Windows Media on an android phone, but you can ge the pandora radio app. it’s better.

I’m getting the Motorola Cliq, but my dad doesn’t want to be under contract. Therefore, he’s getting a FlexPay account, which doesn’t subsidize the cost of the phone, making it 400 dollars. I find this amount for an average Android smartphone insane! I was wondering if there are any current Android phones out for less, and on a non-contract plan for about the same amount. Thank you.
The Motorola Cliq is the best Android phone. The Motoblur ROCKS!…I love it!

Hi I want to send my brother a phone from the US. Android Motorola!! Will he be able to get it to work there? its a google phone by Verizon. Thanks in advance for all your ans.

Yes, the Droid phone will work in India only if it is ‘cracked’ (not physically) or modified i.e the some geeks in computer and phone shops in India have access to softwares which break the software on the phone. This will allow the phone to be used in India with a normal SIM card.
You will have access to most of the features on the phone even after the software is cracked.
However it will cost your brother INR 1000-2000 and it generally takes 5-6 hours.
Many people used iPhone sent to them by relatives from the US, the same way, way before it was launched in India in 2008.
