use a date that is within 6 months or the system will know that your phone is out of warranty,,,,,,if you use a new date it will let you
download the software updater,,,,,,it will not ask you to verify
just use a date,,,say sept 2007,,,and you will get the download

why not contact support,,,,,,they don’t care who you are,,,,

You are not contacting them,,,,,you are just looking at the support section for updates,,,,,if you phone is not listed
then there is not a update for your phone,,,,,,,

If there is you will need to have moto phone updater,,or you
can do it through your carrier,,,
it is software that will put the update on the phone,,,,

If you had this software it will check and see if there is an update for your phone as well

Question by : why isn’t the samsung fascinate part of the “droid” line for verizon?
why are they calling it the samsung fascinate and not the droid fascinate or smthn like do to the droid x and droid incredible?… just wondering. Thx

1. Samsung wouldn’t agree to it. It’s a Galaxy S phone, and Samsung wants to have control over the naming rights. No other carrier named theirs any different.
2. The “Droid” moniker is reserved for Motorola and HTC phones unless another company steps forward with a phone as good as the superphones that Moto and HTC make.
