Can you please tell me how to change the way/style that the motorola cliq vibrates? I have done it befor I jz don’t remember how I did it. Or if you don’t know is there a FREE android app that let’s you do that?
Thanxs for ur time and knowledge in advanced!!
i don’t think you can, BUT what you probably did was hold the phone at different pressures which causes it to make a different vibration. that’s the only thing i hate about the cliq, the screen is not completely flush with the keyboard which makes it have an awkward vibration sometimes laud sometimes quiet.

Ok so I want to switch from the Blackberry Storm (the 1st) to the motorola droid because I can upgrade in about a month and I think the droid will be better with the real keyboard and how fast it is suppose to be. So if anyone has went from the storm to the droid can u tell me what the main differences r and if there is anything u miss about the storm?
i just upgrade from storm to droid. let me tell you, it’s like night and day. don’t get me wrong, i love my storm but droid is much much better. just go to verizon store today and get the droid. you will be soooo much happier. hope this would help.

I’m planning on getting a new phone and I’m having trouble deciding between the Droid Eris and the motorola droid. Droid Eris has a pretty sweet price but I’m also tempted by the Motorola Droid’s keyboard. But in terms of usage, which you think is better? I’m talking on the lines of its responseness, touch accuracy and stuff like that.
ok i have been waiting to answer a question like this
ok i have had the moto droid and the eris, i decided to go with the eris.
reasons i went with eris…
-htc sense UI which allows great customization
-the eris has flash player which the moto droid does not
-track ball
-7 home screens instead of only 3
-and $100 less.
reasons i didn’t go with moto droid
-the keyboard sucks!
its so hard to txt on it.
and FYI….iphones suck.

I want to get a motorola droid but do i have to pay $30 extra each month or should i just get an env touch? I have verizon.
i was also looking into getting the droid, its a real nice phone all together, not as nice as the storm 2. Im also getting a new phone next week and i was looking through different phones to get. i decided im going to get the versa with the keypad, its the same thing as the dare, but it has a keyboard. so you can never get tired of it.
the reason im not getting the droid or the storm is the data plan….i wish i could get the phone with no data plan

Ok i have had the motorola cliq for about two months now. Really no problem that i am really having except 2. And i was wondering if anyone had any solutions.
1. Ok the first problem that i started having was with the keyboard (not the android never use that one) The slide out keypad. When i first got the phone the key pad would light up. Maybe two weeks after it wouldnt light up when i pushed standard buttons but when i pushed "alt" it would light up only for the secondary keys and then turn off once pressed. Now the keypad wont light up all together no matter what button i press. I have looked for a fix in the settings and cant find anything. Now its kind of hard to text in the dark.
2. Now for the second problem and the one that irks me most is text messaging. Well texting and everything is fine. There are some instances when it just decides to stop working and tells me i have to force close which is no problem because most apps do this and start working right away. After force closing, the only problem is, it deletes all my text. Even the new ones that i had just recieved so i have no clue what they said. I thought maybe because the memory was to full but i tried deleting all of the text and even after only having a few it keeps on telling me i need to force close everyonce in while and wont work until i restart my whole phone (which takes ages! haha) No suprise everything is wiped completely clean
Other than that this phone is well worth it and these arent necessarily deal breakers just very, VERY annoying. Any solutions will be greatly appreciated! Sorry for the long explanation didnt want to leave out any details. haha.

Protect and personalize your wireless device with this full diamond case. Sparkling Diamond embedded around makes your phone more luxurious and glaring. Besides this accessory can provide protection by preventing scratches and chips. And its perfect fit makes the phone look as slim as if it acted as an invisible shield. Hard plastic was reinforced to the front edges, sides and back of the phone to endure the life of the case. And all the openings in the shild protector are precisely cut for the top and side buttons, connectors to allow full access to all the functions. Easy to install and last for a long time and the silver zebra on the surface looks attractive, our premium full diamond cases will help keep your device safe. How to install the Snap on cover for the Motorola Droid (A855) Just wanted to give you a quick guide on the installation of our snap on covers for the Droid. 1st. Install the back piece, which fit perfectly. 2nd. Install the top cover with the keyboard exposed. That way you insure all the clamps are in the right places. 3rd. Install from the inside of the keyboard then snap on the outside edge afterwards. 4th. One easy trick to look for is when you look inside the front cover, there is a marking W/M A855, this part should always be down so its closest to the keyboard….right above the touchpad. This is the correct way to install it. If it is upside down, the case will slide off easy, so all you have to do is flip it around and try again. It’s that easy!!!

I am debating between a LG Chocolate 3 or the new Motorola Droid. I need a phone with good battery strength, Reception, Text and Dial easiness, good camera, and durable enough to put in my jacket pocket when snowboarding.
your opinions are greatly appreciated.
would the Droid’s touch screen scratch up easily?
The motorola droid is the Best Phone next to the iPhone. Now the Chocolate has some reception problems from what I have heard. So I would go with the Droid. BUT the Touch Screen in a Jacket for snow boarding I recommend you get a hard case and put it inside. If not go with a Workforce phone. Neither of the 2 you mention will withstand much impact without a case anyways. If you have any other questions feel free to contact me. Good Luck.
EDIT: Well the screen would scratch easily without a screen protector but the bigger problem would be the slider for the keyboard. It might snap off if you were to fall on it. But any screen can Scratch just be sure to get a screen protector and don’t take any phone out if your over the snow if you drop it you can get water damage and then its hard to fix it without having to purchase a new phone. Have fun.
