Question by Mems27: need help picking a cell phone?
I am having trouble picking between 2 cell phones. I do not know anyone who has either and am hoping to get some input either good and/or bad from anyone who has either of these phones…
“Motorola Hint QA30″ or “Cricket TXTM8″
any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I went through reviews for both of them.
What I could understand is, “Cricket TXTM8″ doesn’t have a good display and it is best used for texting messages, while “Motorola Hint QA30″ has a good display but it is not so good for people with big fingers.
I would prefer “Motorola Hint QA30″, if you don’t have big fingers

Question by : How do I get my Droid Eris 2 switch back 2 the original style of homescreen?
My original home screen had 3 onscreen options at the bottom of my home page. There was the “phone” option in the middle, the up arrow on the left (to access my “apps”) and the right side (I think) was the magnifying glass for the search option. This is in addition to the regular soft keys that are at the bottom of the display, but not actually on the screen itself. My daughter changed an option and now the original display is gone and I can’t seem to restore it. The new screen just has an up arrow in the middle of the page and the phone & search options are gone. Also, with this new display I only have three “pages” that I can flip through. The original home screen has something like 7 pages to flip through. If I go into my settings and select a “scene” that I created while it was in the original mode, it will not allow me to apply those scenes with the new home setting. Help! This is driving me crazy and I want my old screen back!

The Eris has the Android operating system and over that it has HTC “Sense” software. I had that happen on my Eris and it looked exactly like the Android operating system I had on my G1 (that doesnt have HTC Sense.) What had happened is an app I had downloaded wasnt compatiable with the verison of android on my phone and wiped the HTC software off. I had to uninstall the problem app, reset my phone and it was back to normal!

Question by Anthony: Is there any way to bypass Droid 2 “too many unlock attempts” screen to the home page?
I tried to unlock my Droid 2 Global cell phone using the pattern lock I created on it and I failed 20 times due to the lack of touch response. My phone is now asking for me to enter my gmail account and password used to setup the phone and I don’t remember the gmail account because I don’t use that email and the Verizon Wireless workers at the store set up the account for me since I didn’t have one. I tried many possible account names and I always use the same password for every account. I tried going to the store and they refused to reset the phone for me and in no way helped. Is there anything I can do to retrieve my account username?
I’ve already tried recovering the username online. I used both emails I have and use and neither are linked to a gmail account. When I bought my phone in January they set up an account name for me because I didn’t have one.

Question by junyiix: When cell phones include “bluetooth” capability, do you need to buy extra items in order to use the feature?
I’m going to be getting a new phone in a couple of weeks..so far I have the, Motorola RAZR V3, Motorola V360, Samsung t509 in mind. The V360 also has a mp3 played included, would I need to purchase a specific kind of headphone to use that?

& please explain “bluetooth” specifically.

No you need to go to blue tooth on your phone and turn it on. the search for other blue tooth phones in the local area to tranver files, images and ring tones. good luck!

I have a Motorola “V3″ phone and a USB Cable to connect it to the PC. But I don’t know where to get games in the internet and what program to use to put the game into the phone. Can you please help me?

I have been trying to do that for days and at last some games work!

The important thing is that you can connect you phone to the pc – if you usually transfer photos etc it should be ok, and download games and midway to transfer them. Midway – http://vxxxstuff.com/forums/showthread.php?t=122

Make sure the games you download are in .jad format and most of those will still not work. I used some of these http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4131665/Motorola_V3_Tested_games – underworld, spruceman, word craze, and four 3d worked.

Question by Joseph: Should i get the Motorola Backflip AT&T???? 2011?
ok, so am planning soon to get myself a new phone soon since my AT&T contract is expiring somewhere around april to may… which is quite a w8 but w/e. So i was thinking of the “Motorola Backflip” for a good pick but ive heard many better phones that r gonna be released like the iphone5 (im not so shure about the iphone5). i like the backflip bcuz to my view it looks like a normal phone but then all of a sudden the keyboard flips out of nowhere for when u wanna text n stuff. Also if u hav a backflip i really want to knw how u like it…Good…Bad or w/e u wanna say. Thnx to all!!!

I’m not the biggest fan of the Backflip, but then again, I’ve never really tried it. My friend was thinking about getting it, and it seems to be the best phone if you’re into texting but you don’t want that extra bulkiness for a slide-out keyboard… that’s just my opinion. Before you get it, make sure you test it out and test out other phones!

Those are the three I watch the most and am use to checking the scores on espn.com however I couldn’t find any espn app surprisingly. The scores app I did download and dry that has NCAA scores says "no data available" for almost all the games and the day is pretty much over. I don’t get it. On espn.com it’s within a minute of accuracy with the scores. Is there any good app you guys recommend for android 2.0?

The one I use is called SportsTap. You have access to all the games for the day which are separated on it’s main screen by NCAA NFL NHL ect… and from there you have quite a few options. This app will even show predictions for upcoming games and has a live automatic refresh. Many menus and options as well to set favorites and so on.

On a side note I believe I saw and espn app not sure exactly what is was called though.
