The operating systems. The Blackberry Storm 2 is just some minor improvements to the Original storm. The New Droid in My personal preference is a lot better. The operating system for the droid is running on the new android one, and it has got a lot of new features. But if you are stuck on blackberry operating system, then the storem is like any other balckberry just touchscreen. Also if you youtube each cell phone, you can find videos that may help your decision.
References :
I'm looking at both phones myself including the HTC Imagio.
From what I can tell the Droid will be the better phone. It has a 5 MP camera with auto stabilization. The Storm only has 3.2 MP. The Droid has a real keyboard and a larger screen plus has FREE Google GPS!
I don't think the iphone will be topped by this unless developers take advantage of it's "open development" stance. Verizon is very strict about 3rd party support so this will be a turning point for them.

These talk more about it:

The storm 2 is just a better version of the first one. Its faster and is all touch screen. Its really meant more for business users because thats what blackberry's always have aimed for, but it is supposed to be good for media too. The Motorola Droid is an Android phone that has a huge touch screen and a physical keyboard. Android is Google's operating system just like Apple has theirs. Its very promising and has updates every few months and that keeps your phone up to date. It has about 10,000 apps available for download right now, like iphone apps. Everybody is giving it really good reviews and saying it the best android phone available and going to be the best phone for verizon. I say go with the droid. The first blackberry storm got some bad reviews but people are also saying the 2nd one is a big step up. You can always use them both in a verizon store to make see which one you like more. I say go with the Droid. Im getting mine first day, november 6th.
References :
Both phones are featured on verizon's site right now- http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/index.html

Gizmodo.com is really good at reviews. Heres one of the droid http://gizmodo.com/5391825/motorola-droid-first-hands-on-its-a-terminator?skyline=true&s=x

Or you can just type in droid review and storm 2 review in google and you'll find a lot of them
