I live in Canada, and wanted to know whether the Droid can be unlocked to use with Rogers? Furthermore, i was also wondering if someone could explain what ROOTING does to the droid?
The droid is a CDMA phone and cannot be used on a GSM network like Rogers.
Rooting is similar to jailbreaking GSM phone. It allows you to add themes, tether and the like.
