What is the difference between android 1.5 and 2.0?

I want to know what differences there are between the HTC droid eris and the motorola droid. Not the obvious physical differences just the differences in the operating systems like if one can do anything the other can’t. Thanks.

A big difference is the screen. Android 2.0 is one of them, but the screen and the processor are the major differences. Here is a article I wrote about the two phones:

    As far as I know Android 2.0 has free turn by turn navigation, and 1.5 doesn’t.
