Problem with new system install for Droid?

Question by : Problem with new system install for Droid?
I had the option to update my Droid’s system so i did. It told me that it would update then restart. So it updated but then froze on the “Motorola” sign turning the restart. Ive taken out the battery and put it back in and turned it back on but it does the same thing…the battery has even died but the same thing happened?

can anyone help…

and dont tell me Droid suck because that does not help me

Unfortunately, the update bricked your phone. This has been happening pretty commonly with Droids there’s nothing you can do except go to a Verizon store and have them order you a replacement. I would strongly advise not downloading the update to the replacement phone until Motorola issues a software patch for it

The V8 one!! Tho sadly EDGE will only work not 3G.
