If you want something cheep and cheerful, well, your best bet is HTC Wildfire S (the model without the S has that low resolution too), or even ZTE Blade/Orange San Francisco. If you can stretch further, Sony Ericsson has two models you might find interesting: Xperia Mini and Xperia Mini Pro. The Mini is the smallest Android phone around, has tad bigger screen than Flipout and higher resolution, it is even more powerful than the Flipout, and Mini Pro is the same thing, but with a sliding keyboard.

But none of these is as funky as the Flipout… It’s not a good phone, but it is very funky. Don’t expect any kind of updates for it though.
